A Very Special Thank You
To all my Family, Friends and Supporters!

The support we have received has been overwhelming. You know your friends and family will always be there for you. In fact, we couldn't make it without them. But it's the support we have received from outside of this network that has been the most surprising. It seems that each month we gain a new friend that we met through their unselfish kindness. We learn of complete strangers that feel compelled to help in some way. Your generosity continues to amaze us. The folks listed on this page coordinated fundraising efforts for Jake. While this page is incapable of expressing our sincere appreciation, please let it be the beginning of a HUGE and never ending Thank You, from the bottom of our hearts! We appreciate you soooo much!

Club SI
Jake's Grandmother (Nancy O'Sick) has a friend (Linda Nicolai) in Texas who has a friend (Margaret Bradberry) who's daughter (Jennifer Lafountain) also has a form of Muscular Dystrophy. Even though they have never met him, Jennifer and Margaret have followed Jake since he was born. Margaret works with a gentleman (Thanh Tran) who was very inspired by Jake. His letter will explain the rest.

Jake,
Enclosed you will find a check for $2,346. This was raised through members on my car website sending in donations. Every year, We find a worthy cause to rally for. Historically, we picked organizations such as the Red Cross or Amercian Heart Asociation. This year, we decided to do things differently and associate a face to a cause. Margaret Bradberry told us of your story. After being shown the website and viewing the pictures and videos, it was no brainer. We wanted to help. I hope you find that you have the touched the lives of many and have a new group of fans supporting you in your fight. On behalf of everybody at http://forums.ClubSi.com, we wish you the best.

On a lighter note, we have to mention the "signature" of one of the Club Si members. In their forum, you can have a "signature" under the screen name. This is often the location that people list a saying or a famous quote. If you read their blog about Jake, you might've seen Jackie's "signature". Each time I read it, it still made me laugh out loud. We've copied it here for your convenience.

BIC Employees
Jake's Grandmother (Nancy O'Sick) works at BIC. One of her co-workers (Randie Jenkins) learned about Jake's website. In her effort to help, she collected donations from other co-workers. Together, the BIC employees raised $165.

Tampa Work Services Employees
Jake's Grandfather (Dick Bower) works at Tampa Work Services. In honor of his birthday, the employees made a $115 donation "because they all know how much Jake means to him", said Robyn Engelman.

Kassandra Lopez
Jake's cousin (Brittany O'Sick) has a best friend who's name is Kassie. She rallied all of her friends at school to raise $17. Such a sweet gesture, let's just hope everyone still has their lunch money!

BSPN Sports
Jake's 2nd cousin, Scott Daley and his family, own a gym in upstate New York. They have the latest fitness technology including a treadmill that has different courses. Scott took it upon himself to create a course that was a fundraiser for Jake. His members ran the course and raised $245.
